Bannerman Island Investigators
On Scene: Dead Famous Crew: Chris Flemming, Gail Porter Island History: Francis Bannerman VI bought Pollepel Island, later known as Bannerman Island, from Mary Taft in 1900 for storage of military equipment and ammunition. Bannerman immediately began construction on a simulated Scottish castle, arsenal, and residence. Construction continued until his death in November, 1918. Paranormal Activity Experienced: Investigator Kerri sensed a young male presence at the front door of the Armory; and a more revered, well dignified male presence; "I had the impression that the was a boat captain and that he was deeply respected for his authority." - It was later learned that Bannerman Island is located several miles away from the known wreck of the Flying Dutchman II. Summation: While it was a quiet night and we were unable to obtain any evidence, we had a great time investigating the island and would love to go back again. We included some pictures just so you can see how cool the place was. For more
