Scene: Paranormal Activity Reported: After experiencing many unexplainable events culminating in the witnessing of the apparition of a small woman in the baby's room, the residents of this home contacted TSPR. During the initial interview, the residents reported objects vanishing and reappearing in other places, seeing black shadows, hearing music emanating from the baby's room only to have stopped as they approached the room, and hearing audible voices call out the names of the occupants as well as those of visitors. The residents told us that much of the activity revolved around the child who seemed to react to the spirit energy with laughter. Recently, a friend of the family saw an apparition of a woman standing in the yard. This woman vanished once the friend briefly looked away. One resident in the house feels there is a strong presence on the stairway which leads to the second story. She began using a recorder to see if it was possible to capture some of the voices that family and friends had been hearing. Several recordings that she played for us contained the voice of a child, as well as that of an adult male. Although we cannot present or validate the client's recordings as EVP, we can confirm that we have obtained similar EVPs during the course of the investigations. Summation: TSPR visited this location several times beginning in September 2006. While we did not witness any of the reported activity during our first two visits on September 23, 2006 and October 29th 2006, we did obtain compelling EVP evidence. During our third visit on November 26, 2006, TSPR Director Ali had the door at the head of the stairs close forcefully behind her as she passed through it. At the same time that the door slammed on her, TSPR Investigator Bruce witnessed what he described as a dark shadowy arm reach out to the door, closing it behind Ali. The entire TSPR team spent the remainder of the investigation trying to recreate the incident. Only after pulling the door several inches away from the wall were we able to make the door close on its own, although it did not close with the same force as when it hit Ali. At the time of the incident, the door was flat against the wall. Upon reviewing her recordings from that night, Ali discovered an EVP captured seconds before the door slammed. This EVP is that of a male voice calling Ali by her given name, Alice. In light of this EVP, TSPR feels that the door incident was nothing more than the spirit trying to get our attention. Additional EVP was obtained that evening. Our fourth investigation on December 15, 2006 was dedicated to an experiment whereby we attempted to communicate with the spirit/spirits in the home under controlled conditions. We were unsuccessful in obtaining any evidence. One theory is that perhaps the spirits were simply not interested in complying with our methods preferring instead to interact on their own terms.
